6 Day cultural tour the way of the peaceful warriors

6 Day cultural tour the way of the peaceful warriors

Overview

This compact short venture takes in some very real cultural experiences of two nomadic tribes without any major travelling times between varying highlights of Tanzania’s Northern Safari circuit. The focus is culture with time to be amongst the Maasai community of Esilalei in the most un-obtrusive manner possible as the camp location is actually within the community of around 2,500 Maasai. Daily life of the Maasai simply passes you by and as you are accompanied throughout by a Maasai guide who was born and raised in the area you will be warmly welcomed from arrival to departure. To come to Tanzania and not see any wildlife would be a small crime, so a day trip to the famous Ngorongoro crater is laced through the web of mixed cultural experiences and with the crater holding not only all of the big cat families it boasts the fact to being one of the last remaining sanctuaries for the super rare black rhino. We are 100% sure whatever wildlife encounters you will have during your Ngorongoro day trip, these will remain with you for many years to come. If the action of it all was not enough your next destination is to a forgotten place and forgotten tribe who have really been caught in a time capsule. The Hazabe bushman live in such a primitive fashion that if they were to leave their bush existence their presence would be washed away after the first early rains. It is something to see in order to believe and truly understand and Bush2Beach Safaris can take you there. The Hazabe bushman are not alone in the Lake Eyasi area as Datoga and Magnati tribes who practice traditional blacksmith techniques also live and work around the fertile soils of the Lake itself. In less than a week you will have a in depth educational safari experience like no other, so for those with a short time and culture as a main focus this is the safari choice for you, great for families as lots of interaction as opposed to long days in Wildlife Safari 4 x 4 vehicles.
