9 Days Explore Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari

9 Days Explore Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari

Overview

This most exciting safari program gives you a chance to experience thousands upon thousands of hooves stampeding across the streams and grasslands of the Serengeti in search of grazing grounds. The program is most suitable from Jun – Aug where the migration is very active in the western corridor to North Serengeti. June is traditionally the Grumeti River crossing period. The herds are spread out, so expect longer, rewarding game drives. July marks the start of Mara river crossing and the mating season in Serengeti while August is your best month to see the dramatic Mara River crossings in the Serengeti. Migration in Serengeti is all year around, depending on the month of the year you can plan to follow up on where the wildebeest activities are happening. You will be on the scene as one of nature’s greatest events unfolds right before your eyes. This unforgettable eight-day safari makes it a reality, bringing you to the majestic Ngoro Ngoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, Tarangire and Lake Manyara and beyond to track the Big Five. You’ll also get an insider’s glimpse of life on the plains from the residents of a remote Maasai village. The migration itself can be unpredictable, but here’s one thing you can bank on: the new life-time experience.
