Itenerary
Duration: 10 days,
On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport meet our representative who will transfer you to Planet Lodge in Arusha, a small charming lodge at the foot of Mount Meru, rooms are located at the tropical garden offering micro weather in the day time. Later our safari manager will come for a safari briefing before leaving you to relax & enjoy the lodge facilities. Dinner and Overnight as per requested accommodation type.

After breakfast at your lodge, your safari driver-guide will meet you at the lobby and then your 10 days Tanzania honeymoon safari Zanzibar beach holidays will begin. You will drive via Arusha city so if you have any last-minute parches please ask your driver. Then depart Arusha city for Tarangire National Park highlighted with large elephant population found nowhere else on earth. The park is located at the base of the Great Rift Valley and it is characterized by small hills and low land dominated by acacia woodland and baobab trees that dwarf the same animal species that come beneath it. Tarangire River & swamps are the only permanent source of water in the entire park supporting a large number of animal species which includes herds of elephant, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippos, lion, leopard, hyena, jackals, and many more. Also home to some three rare species of Greater Kudu, fringe-eared Oryx, and the ash stalling. In the afternoon drive to Lake Eyasi & visit the Datoga tribe & the blacksmith, the late afternoon you can walk to the Lakeshore for sunset.

On this day you will go for an early morning hunting with Bushman including tuition on survival skills Bushman is an indigenous tribe in this area living in hunting and gathering of fruits, eggs, tubers & some herbs pretty much the same as people who lived in Stone Age. Afterward, you will go back to the camp for a full breakfast & then depart for Ngorongoro Crater. The drive will be along the farmlands of Karatu up to the gate, after check-in you will drive up & around the crater rim, stop at the crater viewpoint for some nice pictures. Then descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a wonderful game viewing (picnic lunch will be served at the crater floor). Ngorongoro Crater is often defined as one of the 8th world wonders. The Crater has formed some million years ago due to some internal forces, after the eruption, it sank down the left 600 meters high wall. Today it is the world’s largest unfolded volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations and it is here where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural habitat.

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park the African’s number one safari destination. Serengeti is among the UNESCO’s World Heritage Site with a high diversity of wildlife.It is in Serengeti where the world phenomena “The Great Wildebeests Migration” taking place annually. Packed lunch will be served at Naabi Hill gate or at the kopjes (rock outcropping in Serengeti. After lunch and some rest proceed to Serengeti with an en-route game drive, you will be searching for Wildebeest Migration, you may expect to see herds of wildebeest, zebra, elephant, buffalo & sometime prides of lion & other predators. Reach the camp before or during the sunset.

On this day of your honeymoon safari Zanzibar beach holidays we take you for a full day of game drive in Serengeti and if you wish you can begin with an early morning game drives, leave the Camp with breakfast box and lunch box. Early morning game drives allow you to spot nocturnal predators coming back from hunting sometimes a group of lioness organizing a morning ambush. Most of cat’s family spend the morning time on the road playing to avoid the morning mist. Afterward, break for breakfast in the bush and move on with your game drive.Your driver is in touch with other drivers through radio calls so he knows where to take you this morning if it will be time for wildebeest Migration in the morning you will drive straight too where the actions are taking place, you may expect some fighting, hunting, killing and so on In the afternoon you can have your parked lunch at Soronera picnic site or elsewhere in the bush. After lunch and some rest you can pay a visit to Seronera Visitor’s Center for some wonderful documentary about Serengeti National Park. Embarking on your game drive and return back to your camp for sunset. Alternatively, on this day you can have 2 hours of Serengeti Balloon Safari (at Extra cost) starts early in the morning at 6:30. Afterward, your driver will meet you at the landing point and proceed with game drive till sunset.

After leisurely breakfast at your hotel leave for stone town, (Option) en route you can do the famous spice tour which includes Zanzibar dishes (See Zanzibar Island tours & excursion). Reach stone town in the afternoon. Check-in at Tembo house hotel in the front part of Stone town, you can relax at the hotel or have a short walk along the narrow lines of the stone town.

After breakfast at your hotel and depending on your departure schedule we transfer you to the Airport for your flight back home.
