Tanzania is an incredible safari destination. Whether it is your first time on safari or you are a seasoned safari traveler. The country is home to numerous national parks and game reserves that are bursting full of scenic landscapes, world heritage sites and, of course, an abundance of wildlife. The south and west of Tanzania are often overshadowed by the more famous and iconic Serengeti Safari and Ngorongoro Crater in the north. However these areas offer incredible game viewing and a range of safari activities such as boating/walking safaris and fly camping. The western parks, Katavi and Mahale, are even more remote and wild - and expensive to reach! - Thus less frequented by travellers and more exclusive.

Western Tanzania is unchartered territory is relatively undiscovered and still boasts some of the largest herds of animals in Africa, totally off the beaten track, it takes five hours to reach any part of Western Tanzania, but once there the reward of beauty, wildlife and untouched nature is unrivalled. Tailor made Tanzania has never been so unique with tracking chimpanzees in the Mahale Mountains and Gombe Stream National Parks, or avoiding huge herds of buffalo and elephant in Katavi National Park.
